The Carroll City Council has scheduled another closed session at the conclusion of their Monday, Oct. 11 meeting. According to the posted agenda, the session falls under Iowa Code 21.5(1)(c), “To discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent […].” The meeting will convene at 5:15 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall and the agenda includes the second reading of two ordinances. The first is for the proposed 2022 rate increases at the Carroll Rec Center and the second is for an amendment to parking regulations on Walnut Street. The council will then review a resolution for the low-income housing water assistance program before entering into their closed session. The public is invited to attend Monday’s meeting, but it will also be broadcast on local access cable CAAT6 channels.
