The City of Carroll has announced the railroad crossing on Grant Road will be closed to through traffic for about three days this week. The Union Pacific Railroad has scheduled repair work to begin at approximately 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19 with anticipated completion around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21. Motorists are asked to find alternate routes as the tracks will be impassable while repair work is being completed. Those with questions can call City Hall at 792-1000.
