One Vehicle Disabled In Jefferson Property-Damage Accident Wednesday

The Jefferson Police Department responded to a two-vehicle, property-damage accident Wednesday. The report came in at approximately 4:34 p.m. about the incident at North Maple and West Washington Streets. Mike Renslow of Jefferson was eastbound on West Washington in a 1996 Dodge Ram. He collided with a southbound 2006 BMW, driven by Jordan Joy of Scranton, at the intersection with Maple Street. There were no injuries but there were $800 in damages to the Renslow vehicle and $1,500 to the Joy vehicle, which had to be towed from the scene. Charges are pending against Joy for failure to yield to a vehicle on the right.
