Animal Rescue of Carroll has scheduled another delicious drive-through dinner for this coming Monday, Oct. 25. Volunteer, Karen Schouten says for a free-will donation, people can head to St. John’s Lutheran Church and get a full meal.
She adds it this is one night you won’t have to cook and you will be able to help support the local animal shelter. Schouten says the monetary donations help cover the costs of feeding and caring for the animals as well as their veterinary expenses and some of the overhead for general operations. She adds there are other ways that those interested can make a donation too.
Schouten says they are also busy planning for another very fun annual event people will want to get marked on their calendars, Santa Paws.
They will also have a lunch served at the Santa Paws event. Again, the drive-through dinner on Monday Oct. 25 will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, at 801 E. 18th St., from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
