The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will begin early preparations for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 budget during next week’s meeting. The board will convene at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 1 in the lower-level meeting room at the courthouse and will begin with reports from County Engineer, Zac Andersen, on secondary roads and construction updates. They will then accept the IT Department’s quarterly report, consider a software proposal from Tyler Technology and authorize an application for a substance abuse grant before opening discussions on FY23 salaries and health insurance rates for staff. The board closes the meeting with manure management annual updates and reports from committees. Monday’s meeting will also be livestreamed via the county’s YouTube channel.
