The Sac County Sheriff’s Office reports two Lytton residents were arrested this (Monday) morning following a reported domestic dispute. Deputies and officers with the Sac City Police Department responded to the scene in the 500 block of 6th Street at approximately 7:30 a.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement identified the individuals involved as 54-year-old Brian Dain Edmonds and 51-year-old Melissa Diane Stoll. Stoll told authorities Edmonds had struck her on the head and then threatened to kill her while displaying a knife. Sac County Sheriff, Ken McClure, says a knife matching her description was located in a trash can in a bedroom. A consent search of the apartment also revealed evidence of drug use, and three small bags of marijuana, smoking devices and materials indicative of methamphetamine use were seized. Both Edmonds and Stoll were arrested and transported to the Sac County jail. Edmonds is charged with domestic abuse assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He is being held without bond. Stoll is charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and is being held on a $1,300 bond.
