A Storm Lake man was arrested early Saturday morning after being found slumped over the wheel of a vehicle on a roadway. The Storm Lake Police Department responded to a call about the incident in the 1000 block of East Lakeshore Drive at approximately 6:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they found 22-year-old Wehner Rodriguez who was showing signs of alcohol impairment. He was transported to the Buena Vista County jail for further testing. Upon the completion of the investigation, Rodriquez was charged with third- or subsequent-offense operating while intoxicated, a class D felony, and driving while suspended and parking in a traveled portion of the roadway, simple misdemeanors. He was booked into the jail on a $5,600 bond.
