Everyone is invited to kick-off their holiday shopping with local retailers this Thursday, Nov. 11. Carroll’s annual Jingle & Mingle will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a great variety of participating businesses that will welcome shoppers who can enjoy treats while browsing their selections. There has been a bit of a snag going into this year’s event, however. It seems there has been a Grinch out stealing Christmas gift cards from the Chamber-affiliated businesses. The Chamber is promising that the mean old Grinch will be apprehended in time to return all of the stolen loot, along with a penalty of $200 in Chamber Bucks, before the end of the Jingle & Mingle event. You may be one of the lucky people who receives any one of those gift cards or some of the Chamber Bucks to help out with your holiday shopping. All you have to do is join in the fun to make sure the Grinch doesn’t steal Christmas this year in Carroll. A full listing of businesses participating in the Jingle & Mingle is included below.
