Carroll Supervisors To Do Second-Tier Canvassing Of Election And Will Hear Funding Requests From Non-Profits Monday

Beginning with their next regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 15, the Carroll County Board of Supervisor will routinely begin hearing funding requests from various non-profit organizations throughout the county. The first to come before the board are the RSVP and Foster Grandparent Programs and the Elderbridge Agency on Aging, who will outline their needs for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023. The board will also conduct a second-tier canvassing of the Nov. 2 city/school election. This is done for districts in which there is more than one county with voters casting ballots for the open seats. The board will then be informed of the planned retirement of an employee within the County Auditor’s Office prior to a 10 a.m. update from The Stephens Group on a county health assessment. The supervisors will call the meeting to order at 9 a.m. Monday in the lower-level meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse. The public is invited and encouraged to attend either in-person or by logging on to the supervisor’s YouTube channel, a link to which can be found below.
