The Iowa Communications Network (ICN) is still accepting applications from teachers for its Internet2 Community Anchor Program’s second annual distance learning scholarship. The scholarship is open to teachers at K-12 schools connected to Internet2 via a state or regional research and education network. If selected, the grant can be used to pay for one-on-one distance learning classes from the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC). Over 800 programs are available for educators interested in topics ranging from the science of sound to Greek and Roman mythology. Teachers interested in CILC’s offerings must complete and submit their application by Friday, Nov. 19. Details on how to do so can be found included below.
