The Carroll Police Department responded to a non-injury accident at approximately 10:09 a.m. Sunday. The initial investigation revealed 41-year-old Dan Leiting of Carroll was northbound on Main Street in a 2017 Buick Envision. Thirty-eight-year-old Jill Wittrock, also of Carroll, was backing from a drive in the 800 block in a 2015 Chevrolet Impala and struck the Leiting vehicle, causing disabling damage to the Buick. Wittrock was cited for failure to yield upon entering a roadway.
