The Carroll Police Department recently completed tobacco sales compliance checks throughout the community. Three Carroll individuals at three different retail locations were issued citations for failure to comply with existing laws regarding the sale of tobacco to minors. Forty-six-year-old Michelle Smith was cited for selling to a minor at Walmart; 58-year-old Nelda Manning for a sale at Valero and 22-year-old Dajia Reynolds at the East Side Sparky’s location.
