The Sac County Conservation Foundation is holding two special, seasonal events on Saturday, Dec. 4. The first is a free, family-friendly puppet show and more, beginning at 10 a.m. that morning in the Outdoor Orpheum at Hagge Park. The theme is all things winter and the show will be followed by self-guided activities about the season and a Storywalk™. Space is limited and registration is required. This can be done by emailing Sac County Naturalist, Kristen Bieret, at sccbnat@gmail.com or calling 712-662-4530. At 4 p.m. that afternoon, adults are invited to make their own holiday wreaths utilizing greenery from County Conservation parks. Those interested in participating in the wreath making class are asked to use the same email address and phone number to get more information, for registration and for details on material costs.
