The Storm Lake Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing teenager. The runaway juvenile, 16-year-old Madson Angawan, was last seen by family members on Nov. 8 in Storm Lake. Officials and Angawan’s family are concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Storm Lake Police Department at 712-749-2525 or 712-732-8010. It is illegal in Iowa to harbor a runaway child and allow the child to remain away from home against the wishes of the child’s parent or guardian. Violators may face criminal charges up to the aggravated misdemeanor level.
