The West Central Iowa Rural Water Association (WCIRWA) has lifted the boil advisory issued for a portion of northern Carroll County over the weekend. The order was announced Saturday morning following an overnight water main break east of Breda that impacted service for customers between Mt. Carmel, Lidderdale and the Arthur N. Neu Municipal Airport. The association reports samples returned this (Wednesday) morning showed no signs of bacterial contamination, so the boil advisory was no longer necessary. WCIRWA thanks customers for their patience and understanding while they worked to correct the issue. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact them directly at 712-655-2534.
