Motorists in Glidden will need to use alternate routes starting later this week while Union Pacific Railroad crews complete crossing repairs. According to city officials the Colorado Street crossing on the southern edge of town will be closed at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16 with work expected to wrap up around 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17. The Idaho Street crossing will still be available to drivers and can be accessed from the south via a short detour on 210th Street.
