A driving complaint called in to the Carroll Police Department resulted in an operating while intoxicated (OWI) charge for a Carroll man. The report came in at approximately 1:42 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of W. Highway 30. An officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by 39-year-old Christopher Charles Grundmeier of Carroll, at which time he recorded a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) at more than one and a half times the legal limit of .08 at .125. Grundmeier has been charged with second-offense OWI and failure to have insurance. He has since bonded out of the Carroll County jail.
