Officers with the Carroll Police Department responded to two accidents Tuesday, one with minor injuries. The first accident report was received at approximately 7:49 a.m. at the intersection of 3rd and Main Streets. Fifty-one-year-old Tina Netusil of Carroll was northbound on main in a 2009 Toyota Camry. Twenty-nine-year-old Jordan Diekmann, also of Carroll, was eastbound on 3rd in a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. Diekmann failed to yield from the stop sign and struck the Netusil vehicle on the driver’s side, causing disabling damage. Netusil was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries. Diekmann was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign. The second incident occurred at approximately 3:41 p.m. in the 500 block of E. 6th Street. The initial investigation revealed 20-year-old Grystian Linares Galvan of Carroll was eastbound on U.S. Highway 30 in a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado. He was slowing to turn left into a parking lot when he was struck from behind by a 2009 Kia Borrego, driven by 32-year-old Jonathan Gross of Jefferson. Functional damage was reported for both vehicles and Gross was cited for failure to maintain control.
