Western Iowa Networks (WIN) and the Aureon Charity Grant Program presented a check Tuesday in support of the Arcadia Betterment Development Corporation (ABDC). The $1,500 donation will help with the cost of a new concrete approach to the city park and shelter house parking lot. The new shelter house was completed in 2020, and the concrete work will allow for easier access to this area. “WIN is proud to support the communities we serve,” says CEO, Jeff Roiland. “The City of Arcadia has done a great job continuing to improve their infrastructure and the quality of life they offer to their residents. The improvements the city continues to make combined with the fiber optic construction project that WIN just recently completed in our Arcadia exchange certainly makes one understand why the residents are proud to call Arcadia Home.” Organizations within the WIN service area are eligible to apply for Aureon Charity Grants.
