As of 7:15 a.m. Thursday morning, MidAmerican Energy had restored power to more than 31,000 customers, but crews are still working hard across the state to get another estimated 16,763 back online. In the seven-county Carroll Broadcasting coverage area, there are just shy of 550 residences and businesses who are without power at this time. This includes: 298 in an area northeast of Lohrville, near Farnhamville; 214 to the east of Carroll; 22 west of Lohrville; 10 in the Sac City area and 3 in Audubon County. At all sites MidAmerican is reporting that crews are working on the outages and anticipate power to be restored soon.
