Western Iowa Networks (WIN) presented a substantial donation to the City of Breda earlier this week to help them finish up restoration work that was mostly completed over the summer at their community pool. On Tuesday, WIN CEO, Jeff Roiland, delivered the $25,000 check to city officials at their office in Breda. This is the company’s second major contribution to the pool project, as they helped sponsor a $360,000 U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Revolving Loan Fund earlier this year. The nearly $600,000 project included new water lines to meet current code standards, updated pool and deck resurfacing, privacy fencing and much more. Roiland says, “One thing that Breda is known for is the quality of life that it offers. The new pool will be an extreme asset to the residents of Breda. We are proud to be able to join other contributors to help push this project to completion.” WIN was founded in Breda in 1905 as the Breda Telephony Company and provides telecommunications services throughout west and southwestern Iowa.
