The Carroll Kiwanis Club is continuing a decades-long tradition this weekend by picking up local residents’ Christmas trees. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Kiwanis members will be traveling throughout the community and picking up trees that have been left at the curb. These will then be transported to the Carroll Recycling Center to be processed. All you need to do to participate is haul your tree to the curb prior to the Kiwanis starting. This service is offered free of charge, but they will be accepting free will donations that will be used to support the club’s local programs.
