Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) in Lake City celebrated the facility’s first delivery of 2022 earlier this week. On Monday, Jan. 3 Luke and Madi Sundblad of Storm Lake welcomed their son, Hank William Sundblad, to the world. Hank weighed in at eight pounds, six ounces and was delivered by Dr. Susan Hornback. Hank’s grandparents, Phil and Brenda Sundblad, Cari O’Brien and Gary Schenkelberg, and Rick O’Brien, were also there to celebrate the occasion. The family was presented a basket of gifts, including: diapers, baby wipes, stuffed animals, onesies, socks, hooded towels, a sound matching, toys, nursery décor and much more. These items were donated by SMCH and staff.
