City Of Glidden Announces Partnership With Locally Grown App: Neighbored

Glidden city officials are excited to announce they have partnered with an app developed by a team with local connections to help residents stay in touch with what is happening in their community. City Administrator, Brooke Peterson, says Glidden is now working with Neighbored to review and submit information for the public. Putting an event on the app is as easy as searching for the host town, tapping the Create an Event button and supplying the relevant details. Events need to be approved by a town administrator before it will be viewable for users. The goal of the partnership is to increase community awareness of local blood drives, pancake breakfasts, business open houses and more. Neighbored was developed by Coon Rapids-Bayard High School alums, Sam Honold and Jake Zanders, and is currently available for Carroll County communities with plans to expand to a broader audience in the future. Neighbored is available for free on Google Play, the Apple App Store and online at www.neighboredllcapp.com.
