The Lake City Betterment Association is inviting residents and business owners to join them at their annual meeting at the end of the month. The event begins with a social hour at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29 at the Lake City Country Club with the meal and program beginning at 7 p.m. City leaders will be looking back at the successes of 2021 and how they can better support one another into the future. Tickets are $25 per person and includes a chicken or pork chop dinner. Reservations are requested by Monday, Jan. 24 and can be made by calling 712-640-6401 or through the email address included below.
