The Greene County Historical Society invites lovers of music from the 1950s, 60s and 70s to join them at the History Boy Theater in Jefferson tonight (Saturday) for a live concert featuring some of Iowa’s most talented musicians. The program, titled “Dig it! The Music of the 1950s, ‘60s & ‘70s” is led by Heath Pattaschull, a veteran blues and rock artist, Jefferson native, Tanner Taylor, and several other Iowa Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductees. The show begins at 7 p.m. at 115 S. Wilson Ave. in Jefferson and is free to attend thanks to the sponsorship of Jefferson Telecom, Bett & Bev’s BBQ, Deal’s Orchard and Offenburger.com. The History Boy Theatre staff will be offering concessions during the concert.
