GTRA 69

East Sac 55

East Sac dropped their second straight after winning five in a row, falling to 8-10 overall and 6-4 in the Twin Lakes Conference. The Raiders only led twice, as their fourth game of the week took its toll on their legs. Weston Drost and Aden Vondrak hit back-to-back threes in the 2nd quarter to put the Raiders up 19-18 but they struggled with the balanced scoring from the Titans. Tyler Schmitt had success inside, early in the game, but the Raiders couldn’t maintain and trailed 17-13 heading into the 2nd quarter. East Sac hung close until late in the 3rd quarter. They trailed by 3 until GTRA went on a 10-2 run to open their lead to 10. It stayed near on in double digits the rest of the game.

The Raiders shot the ball well, hitting 48.6% from the field, including 5-14 from three point range. They were 16-25 from the free throw line but were beaten on the boards and the Titans were quicker to loose balls. East Sac turned the ball over 14 times while picking up 15 assists on 17 made baskets.

Tyler Schmitt scored a team high 19 points, adding 6 rebounds. Luke Wright finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Aden Vondrak added a team high 6 assists. Weston Drost scored 8 points.
