Iowa State Extension Hosting Planter Workshop At Five Different Locations

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is host workshops to focus on optimizing planter setup. The workshops will cover all major brands of planters. Iowa State Extension is teaming up with Iowa State University Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering Specialists to bring their expertise to the workshops Feb. 7-11. This is an opportunity for farmers, agricultural service providers, equipment and precision ag dealers, another to gain insight into both traditional and high-speed planter functions, optimize setting for individual seed, field and equipment needs and improve understanding of planter wear and calibration. Specialists form Iowa State Digital ag group will lead each workshop with a focus on small-group, hands-on learning. Iowa State Digital ag group is a renowned group known for their key industry partnerships and unique expertise in equipment and precision agriculture. Join the team at one of the five locations. Registration for each location is $75 and closes seven days ahead of each meeting. Registration includes lunch, refreshments, materials, and CCA credits.
