Only a few weeks remain to purchase a calendar and tickets for the Breda American Legion’s sixth annual gun raffle. Legion Member, Bob Fasbender, says the calendars are $40 each and include the chance to win one of the great prizes they will be giving away on Feb. 19.
Fasbender adds their gun raffle is one of their chief fundraising events of the year, and they are always pleased with how much support they get from the local communities. In fact, he says calendars can be hard to come by in the days leading up to the raffle.
Supporters are also invited to the Breda American Legion that Saturday for the popular game feed and games of chance.
The gun raffle and game feed are not the only fundraisers the Breda American Legion has planned for February. Fasbender says they will be giving fans an extra chance to win during the big game with Super Bowl squares.
Interested participants can sign up for the Super Bowl Squares contest by visiting Michael’s Shoes in the Thomas Plaza in Carroll. Again, calendars can be purchased for $40 from any Breda American Legion member.
