The Carroll City Council is scheduled to convene Monday for an additional Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 budget work session. The final session was originally slated for Wednesday, Feb. 2, but another was added to allow city officials additional time to evaluate their priorities and hear funding request. The added workshop is partially due to bids for the proposed Carroll Rec Center update and improvement project coming in more than a million dollars over the originally estimated $6.7 million construction cost. The Monday, Feb. 7 meeting begins at 5:15 p.m. at Carroll City Hall and is open to the public. The proceedings will also be livestreamed via the city’s YouTube channel and via CAAT6 local access cable. The full council packet can be found included below.
