United Way Of Carroll Announces Over $22,000 In Funding For Local Organizations In 2022

The United Way of Carroll announced earlier this week they have awarded more than $22,000 to local non-profit agencies and programs for 2022. The board of directors finalized their allocations at their January meeting and are pleased to have been able to support 100 percent of the groups that applied for funding. Those organizations include: Breda Daycare Center; Carroll Area Child Care Center and Preschool; Carroll County Nest; Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Sioux City; Community of Concern; Family Crisis Center; Foster Grandparents; Iowa Legal Aid, Kuemper Catholic Schools; and Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Due to the increased pressure felt by non-profit groups over the last two years, the board opted to set aside additional emergency funds in 2022 to be available when the need arises. United Way of Carroll improves the lives of individuals in their service area by aiding educational, health and income-assistance organizations.
