A Jefferson man who was arrested last week on felony firearm charges is now also accused of third-degree sexual abuse. The Jefferson Police Department investigation into 43-year-old, Richard Dean Tuhn Jr. began on Feb. 1 as part of a broader inquiry into reported criminal activity. Authorities declined to provide specific details of what led to these additional charges. Tuhn was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and drug charges after authorities executed search warrants at two Greene County properties on Feb. 2. Tuhn has a lengthy criminal record, which includes multiple felony convictions for burglary and domestic abuse assault dating back nearly two decades. As of Thursday afternoon, he remained in custody at the Greene County jail. His preliminary hearing on the class C felony charge is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 16.
