No injuries were reported following a Tuesday morning accident in Jefferson. At approximately 9:28 a.m., the Jefferson Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection of N. Vine and W. Clark Streets. Their initial investigation determined a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, owned by New Opportunities of Carroll and operated by Michael Berg of Anita, was traveling eastbound on Clark when a northbound 2002 Jeep Liberty, driven by Denise Lehman of Jefferson, collided with the truck’s passenger side in the uncontrolled intersection. Damage to the pickup was estimated at $2,000 and $5,000 to the Jeep. Lehman was cited for failure to yield.
