Tuesday Marks End Of Iowa’s Public Health Disaster Emergency

Tomorrow (Tuesday) marks the final day of the nearly two-year public health disaster emergency proclamation issued in March 2020 in response to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the end of all requirements originating from the Governor’s Office, Iowa’s coronavirus websites, coronavirus.iowa.gov and vaccinate.iowa.gov, will be shutdown on Wednesday. The data available on those pages will instead be reported with other public health data at idph.iowa.gov. Another change coming on Feb. 16 is negative COVID-19 test results will no longer be reportable in the state.
