Functional Damage Reported To Both Vehicles In Wednesday Morning Accident At Highway 30-71 Intersection

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning at the intersection of U.S. Highways 30 and 71. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:03 a.m. Their investigation found a 2013 Peterbilt semi-tractor trailer, driven by 40-year-old Salvador Duenas of Denison, was traveling westbound on 30 when he attempted to move into the outside lane. Duenas did not see a westbound 2004 Buick LaSabre, driven by 84-year-old Dorothy Kramer of Carroll, and collided with the rear of the sedan. Functional damages were reported to both vehicles.
