MRHC Wound Care Clinic staff: Kendra Tiefenthaler, RN and Dr. Thang Luong, M.D.
Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) has been recognized for high-quality wound care programs. Last week, MRHC announced they had received the RestorixHealth’s Patient Satisfaction and Clinical Distinction Awards. To be eligible, providers must meet or exceed national patient satisfaction and quality benchmarks and attain notable success in wound healing. MRHC notched a rating of over 96 percent to receive the Patient Satisfaction Award and surpassed 90-percent healing rate combined with exceeding patient safety goals in the Clinical Distinction Award. MRHC CEO, Linn Block, says, “This achievement reaffirms our commitment to the patient experience and the quality of care that our Wound Care Clinic provides its patients every day. We are proud to be a recipient of two awards that recognize the hard work and dedication of our staff.” Dr. Thang Luong and Kendra Tiefenthaler, RN lead MRHC’s wound care clinic with support from Taylor Potthoff, RN, and Elaine Macumber, RN. The Wound Care Clinic has appointments available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Thursday.
