Calhoun County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) has added a new life-saving tool into their arsenal. With everything over the last couple of years, EMS thought it was the right time to add a new Zoll Z-Vent Ventilator. The ventilators will help with COVD-19 along with CPAP and Bi-PAP. The machine was funded through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. This state-of-the-art ventilator is more precise, efficient, and programmable than the old ones. County Supervisor, Carl Lagore, says, “the new ventilator will help our first responders on calls and stay safe.” Calhoun County EMS is excited about the new ventilator and says, “this is a truly great addition to our EMS system.”
