The annual Glidden Community Auction is slated for Friday, March 11. Last year’s event was pushed back to June due to the COIVD-19 Pandemic. The Haggai Masonic Lodge has hosted the event in Glidden for the past 26 years. Jeremiah Johnson member of the lodge, mentions what items are up for bid this year.
Johnsons says they always try to hold the auction in march and expect about 150 people every year. He also says there is no registration for the event.
The community auction tries to support anything in their area that needs help. Johnson explains what the money goes to.
The auction is located at the Lincoln Club in Glidden, with a social hour beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the live auction at 7:00 p.m.
