The Sac County Sheriff’s Office Served Two Search Warrants In Connections With Burglaries In Sac County

With assistance from the Lake View Police Department and Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office, the Sac County Sheriff’s Office served two search warrants at approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon (Friday) relating to an ongoing burglary investigation in Sac County. The first warrant was in the 3200 block of Quincy Ave. in Lake View. According to authorities, the property is owned by Nicholas Bogue. During the search, sheriffs’ deputies and police found stolen property directly connected to the investigation along with assorted drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be methamphetamine. The second search warrant was in the 2500 block of 370th St. Brian Freese owns the property, and officials say during the search, they located items that were explicitly connected to the burglaries in Sac County and assorted drug paraphernalia. The sheriff’s office is waiting for the DCI Lab reports and records from several cell phones that were seized before additional criminal charges are filed.
