The sixth annual IKM-Manning Gala is Friday, March 25, at the Manning Hausbarn. The doors open at 4:30 p.m. with a meal catered by Lidderdale County Store from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Jeremy Carroll, a Committee Member, explains what the gala is for people interested in going.
Carroll also says the gala has raised over $400,000 in the five years the event has been held. A silent and live auction will take place after the meal. Carroll highlights some items up for bid.
Tickets are available at the door the night of the event for $25 per person, and Carroll says that tickets from 2021’s event that was canceled due to the pandemic will be honored. He mentions where you can purchase tickets.
All the money raised goes straight back to the school. Carroll says they never have a certain amount they look to raise it is all based on the community and what they are able to give.
Carroll also mentioned they would love to see a big crowd help support the children of the IKM-Manning School District.
