Approximately $10,000 in damage was reported following a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson. The Jefferson Police Department responded to the intersection of Lincoln Way and Vine Streets at approximately 1:56 p.m. Their initial investigation determined a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, owned and operated by Shane Kozal of Jefferson, was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Way Street and proceeded into the intersection. At the same time, a 2004 Dodge Ram, driven by Mollie Clark of Yale, left the posted stop sign from Vine Street and collided with the Kozal van. Neither driver reported any injuries, but both cars sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage. Clark was cited for failure to yield upon entering a highway.
