Carroll County Public Health has a child immunization clinic tomorrow (Tuesday). Vaccines for Children (VFC) program provides federally purchased vaccines for eligible children through 18 years of age at no cost to the public and private health care providers. The clinic is from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the public health office. Masks are required, and walk-ins are welcomed, but appointments are preferred. If you are a walk-in, arrive no later than 15 minutes before the end of the clinic. Children enrolled in Medicaid, who do not have health insurance, and American Indian or Alaskan all qualify for VFC vaccines. In addition, people who have health insurance that does not cover the cost of vaccines are considered underinsured and are eligible to be seen at federally qualified health centers, rural health clinics, and public health facilities.
