DOT Seeks Public Comment On Pavement Reconstruction On IA-25 In Guthrie County

The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is requesting public input on the proposed reconstruction of a nearly two-mile stretch of Iowa Highway 25 in Guthrie County. State officials are considering replacing 1.76 miles of pavement between Pecan Avenue and Nice Avenue just north of Guthrie Center. This project would also include work on the bridge spanning Brushy Creek. Construction is projected to begin in June of 2022 and would require an approximately six-mile detour via Interstate 80, Antique County Drive, and White Pole Road. Individuals with comments or concerns about the project have until Friday, March 28 to file them with the DOT online using the links below.
