Tomorrow (Wednesday) is the Carroll Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 annual banquet, and organizers are looking forward to recognizing and celebrating community leaders after missing last year’s event due to COVID. The event had originally been scheduled for Feb. 7, but was pushed back to March 30 in response to concerns regarding virus spread at that time. The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour at the Carrollton Center just off of U.S. Highway 71. Dinner and the award presentations begin at 6:30 p.m. with two sets of awards to be announced. Awards include: Citizen of the Year, Good Neighbor, Humanitarian, Public Service, Heritage Business and New Business.
