The Sac County Sheriff’s Office reports a Muscatine man wanted on Muscatine County warrants for sexual abuse was taken into custody yesterday (Monday) near Ulmer. According to Sheriff, Ken McClure, his office was contacted by the Muscatine Police Department to inform them 34-year-old Tomas Rubio-Perez, who is charged with incest and two counts of sexual abuse, was working road construction in the area on U.S. Highway 71. At approximately 12:40 p.m., Rubio-Perez was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Sac County jail. As of Tuesday morning, he remains in custody and is awaiting extradition to Muscatine County.
