IASB Lead A Learning Workshop With The CCSD Board Of Education At Last Nights Work Session

Last night, the Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education held their work session with Iowa’s Association of School Boards (IASB). IASB Board Development Director, Lou Ann Gvist, led the board’s learning workshop and mentioned the main topics of the workshop.

Gvist also went over the goals that Superintend Dr. Casey Berlau has for the school year and where they fall on the new standards adopted by the state. Berlau details what those goals are.

Gvist closed out the work session by saying she is proud of the board and that they are ahead of the curve. The next board meeting is scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon in the Adams Elementary boardroom.
