The Lake View City Council held a special meeting on Tuesday and entered a closed session per Iowa Coad 21.5.1.i. The closed session was an interview for the Camp Crescent Manager Position opening, which became vacant last month after former manager Sandy Boeckman resigned. City Administrator, Scott Peterson, says they have filed the position just in time for camping season. Peterson says Muhlbauer was a previous assistant manager of the campground but did not work with them last year. Peterson adds that her first day was today (Thursday), and she comes in as a very experienced employee
Camp Crescent gets their camping season kicked off tomorrow (Friday) with reservations starting to come in, and Peterson says it’s a busy day for people looking to reserve a spot for next year as well.
