The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday for their regularly scheduled weekly meeting with secondary roads, lead testing proposals, and more on the agenda. The supervisors convene at 9 a.m. on April 18. They will open with a report from County Engineer, Zac Andersen, on the Iowa DOT five-year plan and budget, drains in need of repair, and ongoing project updates. The board will then set a date for a proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 budget amendment before discussing the county’s Title VI agreements and assurances. With plans moving forward for the courthouse remodel, the supervisors must select a lead and asbestos testing proposal before work can begin. They will review the available offers during Monday’s meeting. They will close with a resolution setting compensation for the county’s election board members, a Class B wine permit, and consideration of a resolution concerning countywide burn bans. The public is invited to attend the April 18 meeting, and it will also be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. The full agenda and details on how to attend remotely can be found included with this story on our website.
