At the start of next week, the City of Carroll will begin their semiannual water main flushing procedures throughout the community. City crews will open close to 500 roadside fire hydrants to generate higher flowrates to dislodge debris or rust deposits in the pipes. They will start on Monday, April 18 and continue through the middle of next month. Hydrants will be opened weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. during this time period. Some residents may notice discolored water during this process, and these individuals are asked to call the Public Works Department at 712-792-1000 to notify officials.
