The Lake City Council will meet on Monday with only a few items on the agenda, including a Community Building update and Nuisance/Derelict Properties. City Administrator, Eric Wood, says they have a lot to discuss regarding the Community Building.
Following the Community Building, the council will go to Nuisance/Derelict Properties. Wood says this is a list he and the police chief put together every year by driving around town.
Wood adds from the list they pick a couple of properties individuals own and try to help them clean them up to help the community look better. He says they have been doing this for the last seven years he has been with the city. Monday’s meeting is located in the Lake City Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
